Unfortunately we have had to cancel this years Spring Beauty & Bling Marketplace. We are very busy with the preparations of our 4th Annual Creative Finds Winter Marketplace, as applications are coming in fast and furious to be in on time for our April Jury date. We look forward to receiving your application and hope you are having a wonderful Spring so far.

The second Jury date is in September if any spaces are still available at that time.

We just wanted to let you all know that we are changing the show to “Beauty & Bling – a Mother’s Day Shopping Marketplace” in respect to the fact that the Vancouver International Burlesque Festival is now taking place on the same weekend. We have decided to completely focus the show to honoring Mothers and offering quality local handmade products for people to pamper their Mom’s and Grandma’s with.

Therefore we will also be changing the hours of the Friday Evening from 4pm-10pm to 11am-5pm. This is due to the change in the nature of the show as well as the fact that Friday is a Pro-D Day (no school) in Surrey & therefore families will be out and about shopping for their Mother’s and Grandmother’s.

An updated version of the application will be ready for downloading on January 31, 2010.

The run down for 2010 so far:

CrEaTiVe FiNdS presents “Beauty, Bling & Burlesque” (The B3 Show) on May 7th & 8th st Sullivan Hall this year. Stay on the waters edge and think what if or just jump in with both feet, hey? Friday night there will be a wonderful array of vendors to shop from for Mother’s Day treats while we are blushingly entertained by some local lovely Burlesque Performers. Saturday will be slightly tamer for our more bashful clientele (no stage performances on Saturday). The shows application form is now posted up on the website  for downloading .  We are also inviting ATC (Artist Trading Card) Artists to participate in the show by sending in their submissions to the “Bright and Beautiful Burlesque ATC Showcase“.  CLICK HERE for details.

What a great weekend. Thank you so much to our wonderful volunteers, vendors and fabulous customers. Without any of you, there would be no show.

We ended up with 5 door prize gift baskets compared to our regular ’2′ this year, which in turn was thanks to our wonderful vendors and their handmade high quality donations.

Day 1 was quite eventful! A steady stream of people were attending for almost the entire day and everyone seemed quite busy! Lots to talk about, so let’s get to it.

We received a bunch of donations for the door prizes (thanks everyone) so we have 4 prizes to give away. We randomly drew for 2 of them tonight and the winners are:

Both winners were contacted tonight and were very happy to receive the good news! Congratulations to the lucky winner! There are still 2 more prizes that will be announced tomorrow night.
